Where it shines

Put the whole room to work.

No backdrop means no limits on where the portrait happens. We scout your space, build cinematic light on the spot, and shoot editorial portraits that belong to that night alone. A few of our favorite ways to use it:

  • Show off the venue

Museums, rooftops, grand ballrooms. If the room is the reason you booked it, put it in every portrait.

  • Work the build-out

You paid real money for that stage, set, or activation. We put your guests inside it before teardown.

  • Capture the characters

Galas, themed parties, festivals. When guests arrive as someone else entirely, document it properly.

  • Shoot the real world

Kitchens, hangars, shop floors, labs. People in their element beat any backdrop we could hang.

Asked and answered

01What is the Anti-Booth?

The Anti-Booth™ is our luxury portrait experience with no backdrop at all. We design editorial lighting around your venue and shoot magazine-grade portraits of your guests right in the space, so every frame is one of one and can never be recreated. We invented it because we got tired of photo booths too.

02What does the Anti-Booth cost?

$3,600 covers the first three hours, then $600 an hour, and billing stops at the $7,200 day rate. No required add-ons, no hidden charges, and travel is included within 50 miles of San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas.

03How is it different from a photo booth?

A photo booth puts your guests in front of a backdrop. The Anti-Booth makes your venue the backdrop: custom pro lighting designed for the room, a photographer directing every portrait, and a look that belongs to that night only. Same instant delivery to phones, zero flat backdrops.

04Where can you set up?

Anywhere with a view worth shooting. Daylight atrium, midnight rooftop, historic ballroom, museum floor. After 3,000+ events we've lit just about every kind of room, at every hour, and the portraits prove it.
